Where it started
Our family arrived in a city where we didn't know a soul. The house we rented had four bare walls and not much else. Then an older neighbor next door took us in hand — drove us to the shops, and lent us a table and beds until we had our own.
Since then I've met so many warm, generous people here. I haven't forgotten how that felt, and I'd like to pass it on. That's what ThanksPorch is for.
How it works
Write somebody a Thanks Card.
For help they gave you, big or small.
Hand it over.
Send it as a QR code, or print it yourself. The card carries the way to your porch.
Your porch opens behind it.
Your Thanks Cards gather there, given and received. If you like, add things to lend or ways to help, for the people you know — let the thanks you were given be passed on.
